Our quarterly newsletter reaches over 1500 leaders and volunteers at our Members, and some of the articles which have attracted the most interest are the editorials and our opinion and commentary articles.
In addition to our Members-only Extranet and newsletter, we also publish op-ed, commentary and reflection articles on cesaer.org which are available to anyone. Some examples include:
We wish to continue this success and therefore hereby announce that we are open to pitches from any staff at our Members (from operational level to senior leadership).
A good commentary article is typically short (usually between 400 and 800 words) and focused (one or two key messages), and the author can chose for the article to be either Extranet-only (if you want to share it only in our association) or published on our public webpage cesaer.org (for broader reach).
If you are interested, please do not hesitate to send the Secretariat a short pitch of a few sentences describing your idea for an article and why it is timely. We in the Secretariat are happy to provide feedback on the content and support with the editing of your article.
The best time to submit a pitch is shortly after you have received the quarterly newsletter in your inbox, as this gives us time to prepare it and have it ready for the following newsletter. But we welcome pitches at any time.
