Lars Börjesson (CESAER Envoy for S&T Infrastructures and Chalmers University of Technology):
“Universities of S&T engage with infrastructures in a range of capacities – including as hosts, partners in ecosystems, co-funders and national nodes – and therefore form part of the backbone of the European S&T infrastructure landscape.
“Academics and professional staff engage with S&T infrastructures for research, education and innovation alike in various roles, including as users, designers, trainers, researchers, innovators, developers, managers, governors and evaluators and are therefore key to safeguarding their scientific excellence and technological leadership.
“Upcoming developments in the European policy landscape concerning such infrastructures are therefore of high priority for our association and Members, and we look forward to remaining an active and constructive partner in this area.”
