Justine Moynat has been appointed as our new IT & Communication Officer. In this role, she will manage and administer information, communication, outreach activities and ICT systems.
Passionate about science communications, Justine joins us from Science Europe where she managed the online presence of the organisation and was in charge of the monthly newsletter. During her masters studies, she also worked as a Research Assistant on a project about peer-review processes. Apart from that, Justine has experience at the European Parliament, UN Women France and within municipalities.
Justine has a background in political sciences, communications and media and has academic degrees from European School of Political and Social Sciences in Lille (ESPOL), our Member University College Dublin, and University of Lille. Outside of work, Justine is volunteering in a Brussels-based feminist organisation. She is also an improviser and does yoga.
At the end of her induction week, Justine said “I am convinced that universities of science and technology have a predominant role in shaping a more resilient, sustainable and inclusive future. I cannot wait to support our Members in achieving their goals!’’
