Per Michael Johansen appointed as CESAER Envoy to the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU

Our Board of Directors has appointed Per Michael Johansen as our association’s Envoy to the upcoming Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU, effective immediately and continuing until the end of December 2025.

Per Michael will advise and support the Board in the lead-up to, and for the duration of, the Danish Presidency.

Per Michael is Rector of Aalborg University in Denmark. His academic expertise spans physical optics, materials, lasers, and non-linear optics, alongside his deep engagement in research and research management, education, and institutional leadership.
