Aligning with our previous positions and with efforts from EUA and EARTO, a petition calling for continuity from Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe has been launched.

Back to overview

Aligning with joint efforts from several stakeholder organisations, including CESAER, EUA and EARTO, a petition is now live in which beneficiaries of EU research and innovation framework programmes call on the EU institutions to ensure continuity from Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe. It specifically addresses personnel cost methods, consistency with the usual accounting practices of universities and beneficiaries, and alignment with national and regional research funding programmes.

Some of our Members have already signed this petition, and all are encouraged to consider signing it.

The petition is available here [ link has expired ].

Our recent position on 'Sustainable Funding for Universities of the Future in Europe' provides more context to the topics discussed in this petition.
